Dwarven Battle Bonnet - WANT

Sure it sounds twee, it's daft, and sure I'd be placing myself in the firing line for the slagging of a lifetime at the next Warhammer get together, but I still want one.

The helmet without the nose guard is definitely the better option.

Gyrocopter : The Apache AH-64 of the Warhammer World

So why do I never seem to field one?
I'm going examine the uses for Gyrocopters in 8th edition and see if I can convince myself that they're worth taking.

I'll liken it to the Apache AH-64 (helicopter pr0n alert) along the way, cause who doesn't like helicopters?

Fleeing units do not count for victory points

Dwarf Hordes in 8th Ed

So far in 8th Edition Warhammer I've been happily playing with units 20 big. This post is me thinking out loud about using larger blocks to take advantage of the Horde rules, rather than talking from experience. i.e. I'm talking outta my arse.

vs Skaven - 1200 points

I recently had my arse handed to me by a slave heavy Skaven army.

There were a few knife edge moments in the battle where it could have swung the Dwarf way, but no joy.

Warhammer - a time lapse experiment

Dwarves vs Chaos Dwarves

Played a game of 8th Ed rules, it's only about our 5th game so we were still getting used to the rules.  I set the camera to automatically take a shot once per minute, queue some windows movie maker (I was pleasantly surprised at how easy to use this was) and you have an amateur time lapse video.
